Other than sound, any benefit from deleting your muffler? I’m driving 2018 sport 2.0
That's funny a guy I know a guy that runs a portable bike chassis dyno. He said 95% of HD owners that brought bikes to dyno with "Drag pipes" and the bikes made less power than stock because the bikes were never tuned afterward. I hate loud pipes as they do nothing but scare and annoy people. Most of my experience comes from (H-D) motorcycles and I know those that went for "drag pipes" on their bikes (removed the baffles) lost some low-end power/torque. Not sure that would be the same w/the car but may be something you want to check w/a tuner about.
Sadly most that go for "drag pipes" are about the sound (noise) and not about performance.... doesn't surprise me at all that the guy you know found most of them hadn't been tuned. :sad:That's funny a guy I know a guy that runs a portable bike chassis dyno.
