Muffler / Resonator delete

So I have the prl catless downpipe but looking for a little more sound , wondering what the difference is just deleting the mufflers vs both resonator and muffler . Would it be a lot louder ? Looking for just a little deep tone nothing crazy. Thanks

There are a couple clips up on YouTube of muffler and resonator deletes. Sounds decent for such a simple mod.
So I actually just removed just my mufflers today , with my catless prl downpipe it sounds amazing love it . No rasp not loud just a little deep hum . Extactly what I was looking for . Definitely recommend it

Can you post a sound clip or video?

So removed only mufflers or both? Also curious to know if you or anyone has any input on what the outcome would be of doing the same while still have a stock set up in the front, will be getting the prl intake very soon but it’ll be a while before I can pull the trigger on the down pipe. Thanks for any info.
Just the mufflers , I have catless downpipe and intake so I’m sure it’s definitely a little louder than yours would be stock. For me it’s perfect and idle just a little deeper tone , while driving I like that it doesn’t get any louder after about 2,500 rpm it actually gets lower. No cracking no high pitch sound just deep. Noticed while in 6 gear on highway around 70-80 mph around that 2,5000 range when you let off the gas has a heavy tone . But not Obnoxious again once it lower around 2-2,200 rpm or over 2,700 -3000rpm barley noticeably on the highway . I will try to get a Viedo
Haven't have any good luck with muffler deletes with catless downpipe. Mine just drones the entire car around 2500-3000 when cruising on the highway. Drone vibrated my entire car all the way to the front dash. So I took it back to get some smaller aftermarket magnaflow mufflers put on. Sounds nice now and mellow when at low RPM and sounds pretty good at higher RPM.

I guess I'm just too old now :(
I get what your saying with drone , it’s definitely the loudest at 2,500 I do hear the vibration but more in the back seats. It’s only been a few days and I’m the only 1 that drives it so as of now I really don’t mind it. I like that it doesn’t get any louder as you get higher on the Rpms
If you've just deleted the mufflers and not put on a pipe that allows the exhaust to exit out the rear then a lot of sound will get trapped under the back of the car. Perhaps fabbing up a short extension pipe is all that's needed to stop some of the drone.

Yeah, I wouldn't let the shop do that type of a job. I had it all way to the edge of the bumper with tips removed and had quad tip setup. But when I had it redone, I decided to move it out a little more instead of sitting flush to the bumper.
Yea I also had them weld a pipe out to the back of the original tips on the bumper
Oh gotcha, cool. Well, still can't wait to hear a clip of it :)
Yeah Really

No Video didn't Happen - Just - BS
