I ordered a "Mugen" back cover off eBay for my key to see if it would fit.
( FOR HONDA CIVIC JAZZ FIT ODYSSEY HRV MUGEN POWER JDM SMART KEY FOB BACK COVER X1 | eBay )
Our cars were not listed in the compatible models in the description, but why not? I decided to give it a shot since it was only $15
The part arrived and...,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,..it didn't fit, but guess what? The main purpose of buying it was was for the "Mugen" backing and that part was merely a sticker. As was the OEM "H" Gloss black backing to our keys.
I used a box cutter to carefully and slowly remove the sticker backings. I didn't need to heat them up with a blow dryer but I'm sure it would of made it a little easier.
Some of the black paint scraped off the eBay "Mugen" backing, but I was able to touch that up with some black touch up paint.
I used a dab of super glue and reattached the "Mugen" backing to my key and here's the final results.
