After placing a signed buyers order in the first week of November 2021 shortly after the 2022 models were newly shown on the honda.com website, my local dealer obtained an identical vehicle via swap from another Virginia dealership in the first week of March 2022. I wanted all the features available on the Touring trim, plus these 11 additional dealer-installed accessories: all-season floor mats, splash guard set, trunk tray, cargo hook, cargo net, body side molding, gloss black fender emblems, moonroof visor, puddle lights, interior illumination, and heated steering wheel. And for a new car order, I wanted only the white exterior and black interior color combination (my all-time preferred color choices).

The exterior accessories have the added advantage of making the vehicle stand out from similar cars to easily locate it in a parking lot. The black splash guards, fender emblems, and moonroof visor really accent the white exterior along with the black wheel accents, and the optional accessory puddle lights and interior front footwell lights add more nighttime glow to the standard courtesy lights on the two front doors. Since getting it, I have upgraded all the incandescent interior lighting and the backup lamps to LED, and also added the trunk handle and trunk box obtained from College Hills Honda.

The car looks awesome and drives that way too- I really like it!
