I have no idea why Honda designed the A/C vents to be like this.

My issue/grip is if you have the air on the front vents and feet vents option the center vents don't hardly work at all, I thought my car might have been defective but the Honda tech got into another 2018 accord 2.0t sport and the same thing happened with the air on the same setting.

anyone else notice this ?

I posted the same issue in another thread. Went to Honda dealers and tried another Touring. Was the same as mine.

You know what I remember my second gripe, the stupid center console is too bulky, I wish someone one would make a smaller center console trim piece that was padded or something to give the gas pedal leg more room

Yes!!! that is one of my main annoyances with the car. My freakin' R knee is constantly touching that hard plastic and it hurts after a while!!

fyi, I'm talking about that piece of plastic where the start/stop button is. That's where my R knee touches

If they made it smaller then people would complain it doesn't hold enough and is not close enough to you.

I chose this pic cuz it shows you all the room they took away like why!! There is no **** transmission tunnel down there.
You know they need somewhere for the rear A/C ducting. Plus all those wires to operate shifter and parking brake.:surprise::grin:

Heat Likes to Rise , A/C Likes to Fall , but in Cold Winter running down Highway that Tunnel Wall and Lower Floor could get pretty Cold ..
I'm wondering how the Heating is going to work .. so Far Electric Seats on Level 3 - Compared to VW CC seem Only Level 2 Warmth .
At least After 10 Min. Felt pretty good , so Slower to Warm Up Compared to Older 2007 "Volvo Warmed Up Faster also" , But Approx ~ Same ~ Heat Levels . .

My Three biggest gripes are:
1. Headlights fill with snow because the LED headlights don't generate enough heat to melt it off so I have to get out and scrape them off.
2. Steering sucks, driving down the freeway is like driving a boat on the water you are constantly correcting then correcting back the other way. You cant make a small adjustment you try but the steering wheel has resistance then all of the sudden goes to far which now you have to correct the opposite way.
3. is also the hared plastic on center console next to drivers right knee.

Greatest grip here is the need for me to reconnect/enable my Pixel2 randomly. Cannot figure out what causes it to disconnect (or at least cause that poorly worded message to appear). Is it because I plugged in before ignition? After ignition? While disclaimer was showing. No idea. Sometimes I must restart the engine for things to work again. RESTART THE ENGINE for the Android Auto to work right. Yep, you read that here.

My gripes (grain of salt though, I don't even own the dang car yet) of the 2.0T 10 Speed Automatic.

1: Baby First Gear. At least give us the option for a fully unlocked first gear. Force us to enter a dang Konami Code just like required for the Traction Control deactivation. Not everyone will ruin the dang car from having this.

2: Baby level of Boost at Stock. I feel like this car would love just a little bit more boost. :sneaky:

3: Fake Chrome Exhaust tips that are not directly connected.

4: Ugly "Spoiler" with seemingly no real functionality on the Sport.

5: Honda Sensing, in general. Cool, but I would LOVE to remove all of it for a cheaper fast car. I can only see it being useful for me once a year when we take out family vacation since My wife and Daughter cannot go on Airplanes.

6: No Shift Column, how do I put this in Neutral when my Battery is dead and I need to push it?

7: My Final Gripe... No Physical E Brake Lever. I have said it in this forum before and I will say it again. Having one in my old 98 Civic, is the reason why I am alive today. Not having one irks me like you wouldn't believe, but I love the car too much, I will have to get over it or maybe get some crazy solution installed someday in the future.

In regards to putting the 10 speed automatics in neutral, on the side of the transmission there is a shaft that you need to turn to get it into neutral. For the lower boost levels, I think anything more would just put unwanted stress on the bottom end since the smaller turbo spools up faster. Honda sensing you can turn them all off. Not a bad thing to have insurance wise. My insurance went down almost 100 a quarter from my 17 accord to my 18 2.0 sport. And lastly about the e-brake I TOTALLY AGREE!!! I hate it. We have had cars come in to work with the e-brake locked and you have to remove the plug on the back and manually undo it parking mechanism. On top of that the process to do the brakes is much longer, has the German type connectors on the caliper (which get brittle and eventually break and won’t hold together) I’m just not a fan of em.

You are right, I have seen that before! So with that being said, do I need to have someone In the Car foot on the break when I flick that switch? Cus that switch FORCES it to neutral immediately right? meaning if I'm doing this solo, the car could start wandering off?

I figured 5 or 6 Lb's of boost would be okay, but maybe not.

As for the damn E Brake! Ever heard of someone installing a different E Brake system into a car like this? Without it being obvious Chop Shop race car style where you simply dont drive when its raining ;p

What I would really really really want in my life, is a car set up like the cossie... The Shifter, the E Brake, I love everything about it.
