Hey guys and gals,
I purchased my Accord slightly used with 8,000 miles on it and have commuted with it ever since. It’s a spectacular ride and I am going to see just how far I can take her. My commute is currently 800 to 950 miles per week. Her clock is currently reading 145,300.

Really good to hear it’s made it that far with pretty basic maintenance.

What replacement tires do like best? Keep the same size as stock or did you go a bit bigger?

Thus far I honestly like the Uniroyal Tiger Paw 235/40 19. They will make for about 65k and won’t roar until around 55k. Just bought my second set for around $630 with road hazard. I’ve replaced 3 out of 4 tires with that warranty before.

The only things I’ve changed so far is the spark plugs, Air filter 3 times transmission and brake fluid twice. I’m on my 4th set of tires, the factory ones only made it 26k.
I’ve kept it stock thus far, the only issue I’ve had is with poor quality tires. It runs like new, I changed the spark plugs today and they looked crazy good for 145K.
That's great to hear!! Honda is known for their longevity but one wonders if that remains when new generations are introduced.
