Hi all!

New active member here although I've read a ton of posts/discussions before. Here she is, a little bit of aesthetic work done but nothing performance related yet:

  • Enkei Wheels
  • JDM front and back logos (gonna get a new "Accord" badge on the rear soon)
  • Aftermarket sport grille
  • Window louvers
  • Rear taillight overlays

Currently a dumb college kid and slightly messed up the sport grille install. Broke a few clips when trying to remove the original chrome accent grille. Would love any advice on what I should do about that but determination is not lost. Im new to this and would also love any tips!

Welcome to Accord X Club... congrats on getting your Accord!!!

Regarding your mishap when installing your grill if it's just the issue of broken clips they can be replaced. Check w/your local dealer or you can check online at Honda Parts Now... put in the specifics about your car (year, model, trim...) and find the parts. Most clips are universal to many different make/model vehicles and you might be able to find them on Amazon or eBay.

So the issue is that I believe some of the tabs on the accent grille broke on the installation. They're not the push tabs holding the front grille to the car, its just a black plastic aftermarket piece from eBay.

Ahhhh... ok, gotcha. If you still have the broken pieces you may try some JB Weld for Plastic.
