I had been a GM owner for 4 of my 5 previous cars. I wanted a new GM sedan in September 2020, as I am not a fan of crossovers and SUVs. I wanted to buy a new Buick Regal GS in the last year of Regal production for the USA, but none were available, so I settled for a new 2020 Buick Regal (Essence trim). But it was missing too many features from those on the Regal GS. In reviewing non-GM sedans over many months last year, I decided to target when they became available a 2022 Honda Accord Touring, which has all of the features (and more) of a Regal GS, with the exception of all wheel drive. I placed a buyer order, waited 4 months, and got my new Accord in the first week of March. I posted a description and picture today in the forum's Registry and Check In Area.

I have been reading many threads in the forum, and as with other vehicle forums, I always pick up a lot of valuable information and opinions from other vehicle owners that give me a head start on becoming acclimated with a new vehicle. So far, the most valuable information to me has been about the rare instances of problem situations in the functioning of some of the Honda Sensing suite. I have made a point of disengaging Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist System, Road Departure Mitigation, and Collision Mitigation Braking System (this latter every time I start the engine), as I don't want any unexpected mishaps while driving, no matter how rare. Thanks for all the information!
