Hello all,

I’m not sure if this is the proper section to post this thread in, but here we are anyways. I have a 2018 2.0t manual accord and just recently it started making a strange whine from around 2800-3200 RPM. It’s not a vibration or something to do with the A/C, since I have moved stuff around inside and the noise occurs with A/C on or off. It seems to be some sort of engine issue as it also occurs with the clutch in and in neutral.
To me this issue is an unusual change in engine tone, but I can’t really think of anything to cause it. I do regular oil changes, air filter replacements and there’s no errors being thrown in the dash. If anyone has any ideas, please send them my way. If it means anything, performance does not appear to be affected at all.

Edit: it seems to be occurring at most rps I’m just unable to hear it over road noise. It’s so hard to describe the sound but I’m thinking maybe a fuel system issue?
