sweet!!! about time someone started the support! haha, what kind of performance gain could one expect with this downpipe?
The other side benefit will be much quicker spool up, not that there is much lag with this car to begin with.Awesome! Glad to see that aftermarket support is beginning to pick up. And I think traditionally you can expect anywhere between 5-10hp gain with a downpipe, and around 15lb-ft of torque. Also depends on what other mods you're running.

I wonder if Hondata's maps will be able to compensate for a catless setup. Will be interesting to see how the car responds to a downpipe...maybe it's time to price out that Type R turbo.

So is the type R turbo exhaust side bolt pattern the same as ours?I wonder if Hondata's maps will be able to compensate for a catless setup. Will be interesting to see how the car responds to a downpipe...maybe it's time to price out that Type R turbo.
This I do not know. There is a thread that talks about the differences between the two engines and I can't recall if the head castings are different. This is great news. Looks like I'll be grabbing one.

Are you guys going to be making any exhaust systems for the Accord anytime soon? At least a quad tip please. :grin:Thanks for the support and enthusiasm guys, we really appreciate it! We have quite a few other tricks and ideas up our sleeve.
We will be providing dyno results shortly once we get the car back in!
Most-likely. We have not had time to play around with ECU tuning yet for the Accord, but if KTuner and Hondata is setup anything like their other platforms, users can disable any o2/cat related CELS via a checkbox on his or her laptop.
From my past experience the PRL parts are excellent!! Glad to see these guys supporting the Accord platform. I currently have a Civic SI and all my aftermarket parts are PRL. When I buy, PRL will get my money ?Thanks for the support and enthusiasm guys, we really appreciate it! We have quite a few other tricks and ideas up our sleeve.

Probably not, as we are not an exhaust manufacturer. But, if the market proves itself we are always open to collaborating with some bigger name companies to push for one to be developed :smile:Are you guys going to be making any exhaust systems for the Accord anytime soon? Thank you! We are currently in the process of writing more data from testing to provide, some of which, in regards to drastically decreased temps from the downpipe! :wink:OK , Love Your Work , and Pictures , Fixture etc.
I have some Serious Questions Thou ? After taking Note of Dam Hot Engine Bay - during road Trip on Very Warm Day . .
1. Install Instructions , with Pictures ?
:wink:Looks like I purchased the Accord just in time
Downpipes are only available in raw stainless color. At this time we have no plans to offer ceramic coating, but customers can feel free to source this themselves. TRUE ceramic coating is rather expensive and not everyone is willing to pay.Tell Us about the Ceramic Heat Control - Coatings ?
Colors ? That will likely Keep the Cat Hot ..
The 304 SS castings are definitely heavy enough  What details would you like to know?SS will do a Nice Job = If it's Heavy Enough . . The Top & Bottom Casting and Details on those Pc's ?
