Thinking of going to get one. Which do u guys prefer? Which makes more intake noise? Performance?

If you don't have a tune already I would get that first. Your probably not going to see much of any performance gains just more sound, especially with a stock tune.

Price was the biggest thing for me, so I went with Mishimoto. It has a throaty, deep tone upon acceleration with a nice sp00ly woosh at the end. You can hear it in the cabin if you know what you're listening for but it's definitely noticeable with the windows down.

Performance wise I've read that intakes don't matter a whole lot so long as that they're a closed boxed system. If you're looking for gains and cooler AITs then an intercooler is a must followed by a tune.

Personally - still Feel Battery has to Go - be Gone - Relocation Kits with Wire & All ..

Then R Unit of even Better could be done ..( Just saying as it's such a Small Area ) seems to be Limiting Vendors . .

Surprisingly, I was able to get my Mishimoto off Amazon Prime for $287

I got my Mishi on amazon for $186 last week. so far, I really like it. The install was easy enough and it gives me that good good turbo noise I was looking for.

$186?! That's a steal, now go get the PRL Stage1 intake tube. It made my mishi louder

Yea I couldn't pass it up for that price! What is different with the PRL tube to make the intake noise louder?

EDIT: I just found PRL's website and on the product page it explains the difference between it and the stock tube. Thanks for the tip!

Just a heads up, you'll need to trim the hose to make it fit as it'll be too long with the Mishi

Follow the instructions in this video at the 20:06 time mark
