You could put the sub in the passenger footwell. There's tons of room there. Our cars are extreamly isolated in the trunk and you need tons of power or a ported box to get any benefit from a sub in the trunk. I run 4k in my trunk and I'm barely satisfied. But they are sealed subs. I like my bass full spectrum and don't mind sacrificing output to gain lower extention. Here's a pic of my front sub. And the post of my build when you realize that you need more than that 300 watt audiocontrol amp is giving you.

ItsonlyAHonda, damn that looks like a ton of time, work, research, and money. Looks fantastic and I'm sure it sounds awesome, but your car is an example of how unending this rabbit hole is.
Lol it was months of research, and an extream amount of money. But it's the most amazing sounding systems I've ever heard. There's only 1 place that I've been to than can compare and that was the marquee club in the cosmopolitan in Vegas. I've been to most clubs in LA and Vegas and the majority of them fall flat compared to my car. And I don't think I'm done yet so the the rabbit hole is deep. I tried the whole replace factory speakers, and add a sub/amp thing and it left me unsatisfied. So I went back to the drawing board and no one that has this car has done what I wanted so I had to shoot from the hip and hope for the best. Between the first install, the stuff I bought that I didn't use cuz I scratched those plans because I should have done more research before buying stuff, and my current install I've spent well worth the value of my car. That's the reason I'm here on this site. To try n guide ppl with this car in the right direction when it comes to their audio. I love this car but the audio sucked really bad.
