Does anyone else have a strange rattling noise when they start there car when hits to about 800-1200 rpm’s and then goes away immediately after? I have a 2.0t 6mt I’ve had it going on since I bought it 6 ish months ago. It will also make a similar noise when I turn it off and never have heard it in any other car I’ve driven.

its most likely timing chain rattle. you hear the chain rattling while oil pressure rises in the timing chain tensioner.

ive had good luck with there 2.0t and using BG's 3 part kit ( EPR, 44K, and MOA). the noise quiets down significantly after the flush and addition of the MOA
