This spot on my windshield! Why? I've done some serious cleaning to the windshield to remedy this and still it happens. What you see in the pic is just the due that's collected over night. You can see where the smaller passenger side wiper moves across the windshield. This area is always there,, even when driving in the rain with wipers on,, that area seems less wet! What's with that?!?

@Devster are you upset because one spot is drier or upset because the rest of the windshield isn't as dry? Since you didn't state or do I see any indication of what year your car is have you tried cleaning or changing the wiper blades? Also if you have used automatic car washes in the past that apply wax in their cycle you may want to try a water/vinegar solution to clean the windshield.

It's a 21 2.0 sport. AND sorry I asked about an annoying little anomaly. You'd really have to see it from inside the car. Anyhow I'll just figure it out! I will try the vinegar solution.. Ty

The car has less than 4000 miles and wipers definitely work. I find it kind of weird that the passenger sige wiper is so small. It only comes halfway down the window so it leaves this separation. Sorry it's just weird,, it's irks me. Not like I'm rainman of anything. If I get a chance this weekend I'll be stripping the windshield with vinegar, glass cleaner and maybe clay bar it. Then multiple coats of rainX! I've even heard rubbing a potato on the window will help!!!

Windshield should be a lot drier on both sides after one swipe if that's only dew on the window. When I use mine for that purpose it is uniform dry/clear/cleaned the entire area the wipers cover.

Hi! I’m a professional detailer and see weird things like this very often. This issue is happening because the windshield was most likely treated with some bullshit rain x or like product by the dealership before you purchased it. Those products created a build up, especially if it’s incorrectly prepped/not prepped at all before use. I recommend getting Carpro-Eraser to remove whatever is on there and then invest in 99% iso alcohol for cleaning your glass afterward and in the future as needed whenever it gets dirty.

If you are easily upset over the water spot, wait till you start having Bluetooth connectivity issues, unending random rattling and undersized batteries that need replacing every year and a half.
Same Bluetooth Connectivity issues. Also- I hear chirps when I'm driving highways speeds. Did anyone experience this?

Yulp I've got connectivity issues already. Android auto is constantly rebooting. Odly when AA reboots I don't loose a handsfree phone call through the system.

I've never owned a car with such fussy, finicky BT before. The one thing that absolutely pi$$es me off is when I am on a call, I jump in the driver seat, turn the car on and. nothing, it doesn't connect and I am forced to listen to the conversation while on speakerphone, until the car's BT finally connects, which could take upwards of 5 minutes sometimes. I know some tell me I am nitpicking things. I disagree. When you drop $33k on a car that offers features, and these features don't work, it feels like a kick in the ball$.

Have you had it where a call connects, you can hear the other person but they can't hear you? If you toggle radio to send the call back to your phone then toggle it back to radio it will work. That's if the other person is patient and waits for your correction to happen,,, my wife knows to wait...

It's crazy but if I'd of know how buggy android auto is and the call issues it would of been a deal breaker.
