2018 2.0T Manual

New issue started this weekend. Put the car in reverse and get a blank screen. Checked the camera and connection and seems good. The car has 800 miles. Checked the owner's manual if you can reset it or something. Nothing in the book.


Is anyone else having this issue or knows how to maybe reset it?

Solved

Disconnected the battery to do a master system reset. Camera worked right away.

How it started was the first time I used apple car play and used the navigation system. Seems to be a bug in the software.
Please clarify. After disconnecting the battery did you just reconnected it, or reconnected it then select factory data reset from the menus?

Does this notice depend on where your vehicle was manufactured? When I check my VIN # there is no recall for my vehicle.

Wish recall was for 2013 accord. Same this with backup camera. But it does it sporadically. Need help. Thank you
Unless the year you posted is a typo this site deals with 2018+ (Gen X) Accord's. You might try looking on the Honda Owner's Recall site, insert your VIN and it will show if there are open recalls. If in fact the year of your car you posted is a misprint and you do own a Gen X Accord that site will also let you know if there are any recalls by searching it w/your VIN.
