Any problems with this part? Just had mine go out on a 2018 Accord 2.0 Touring.

These parts should be bullet proof.

Only 18,000 miles!
I haven't had any issues or heard of anything. As much as we all want to think anythign is bulletproof thats just not the case with mechanical or electrical parts. Having dealt with parts and repairs in some capacity for 15+ years sometimes things just go wrong. good news, the door panels are easy to pull off on these cars so getting access isn't difficult if you're a DIY kinda person

I haven't read/heard any issues w/the actuator's either. As @Mr.2.g0 said unfortunately nothing is bulletproof.... there could have been an isolated defect in manufacturing, weak component in the actuator, etc., etc. If you are interested in DIY the part isn't that costly...

Are you sure it failed?
I have seen some door actuators that were fine and it was just that during the assembly of the car they did not get the wire fully plugged in and during normal driving the wire backed out and the actuator stopped working, just had to take off the door panel and reseat the plug
