Rear Seat Charging Ports!

9203 Views 9 Replies 7 Participants Last post by  Fired00d
So before I bought my car, I watched alot of reviews on Youtube about the new Accord. And one of thing the review mentioned was there's no Rear Charging ports in the New Accord, in any trim level. But it wasn't a deal breaker for me, I bought a 2018 Accord 2.0T Touring anyways. But guess what! Mine came with dual rear seat charging ports! Must be a Canada version thing....

Lol isn't it great when you stumble upon options you didn't think existed. I had no idea this was being offered in Canadian models either. Cue complaints of U.S owners.
Canadian models have rear USB ports AND a heated steering wheel on the Touring models.
and . . . they are a lot more expensive!
LoL, yea, I paid $40,000 for my 2.0T Touring. =(
Well as they say money well spent right? So did the pricing adjustments that Honda made to try and create an influx of sales not happen in Canada?
Actually I just worked out the conversion, $40,000 cad is $31,068 Usd. Which is not too bad for this car I think.
That is a good price after the $ conversion. I have been thinking of adding this to my Touring 2.0T I think it is $100 USD for this dealer-installed option?

It's $231 where i live installed. Not worth it for me when I think how few ride in the back seat so, I bought a Tuner instead.

I had this experience with the seat warmers. Seriously, thought the car didn't come with them at first. (Sport 2.0T)
Had these added to mine at time of purchase... like has been mentioned not often will there be passengers in the back seat with that said they will not be used often, however I felt for resale purposes it would be nice to have them. Along w/that if added at time of purchase they (like any/all accessories added at time of purchase) come w/a 3 year warranty.
