Rim damage

I hit a curb on the passenger side and damaged both front and back rims. Replacement is $600. So am to have it repaired at a place that rehabs rims. Anyone ever had experience with doing this? My wife has me in the doghouse and I’m trying to get out!

sorry to hear. What size rims are these?

Also, you may get more views of this in the general forum.
Rim repairs run aroun $100 each. They will look like new, they come to your house too. Your dealer may have a mobile crew that comes around for the used cars, but they may want to sell you new ones.

Ouch. You have a pic of the damage? Definitely agree it makes more sense to have them repaired over replaced.

This is why I like having my own shops to go to. Small shops are more into repairing and finding ways to fix rather than replace.

Ultimately you'll see how well balanced the wheel it. Once its balanced and there aren't any stress cracks, you're in the clear.
