Hello, I have a 2018 Honda accord with 75k miles and lately I’ve been hearing a groaning noise from the dash when I accelerate from a full stop. The sound only lasts for 1 or 2 seconds. The engine runs fine and the tranny is still running good as well. No check engine light. Do you guys happen to have any ideas what it could be?

how does your serpentine belt look? it might be making noise when you accelerate as that is when it experiences the most stress. 5 years/75k miles sounds about the time to check that and replace. could also be one of the pulleys. you have to take the belt off and manually spin each one to see if one feels gritty or not rotating smoothly.

Could be the lower engine mount or control arm bushings. Rubber parts, (mounts/bushings) groan when old stressed
