Hello to everyone,

Even Honda recommends for 0w20 or 5w20, I think 0w30 oil is also widely used as well.
I'm living in Kansas & only compute highway for 6 miles. Should I switch to Mobil 1 0w30?

What is your engine type? I asked the dealership techs as well and they gave me the standard well it's thinner so it's more efficient. Personally, I think 0-20w is a little thin for a turbo engine, but they engineered it with that in mind. Amsoil, Redline, liquid Molly, are all better oils if you want something with better performance. If you are just looking for something during summer heat, add a bottle of water wetter or purple ice.

10 or 15 years is a time for a new car. So no need to care so much! 🤣

I’m running 0w30 in the 2000 insight since 7000 miles now has over 300k.
They started the whole 0w20 propaganda train because it gained 5% on the cafe rating. Whoop de do.
