Let Me Break It Down , for every 60-85HP More You Tune into a Motor - One has to Stop Step Down 1 step Cooler . . Hence the Comment above about the R - needing to be 1 Step Cooler . .

After some Cross Checking & Cross Association to sightly Older Numbers ..
I Ended up with :
NGK Laser Iridium Plug Spark Plugs Number - DILKAR8A8

These Look to be for 2.0T , I then used that # to Back Reference to Denso to see what was Up - as They Hold the Patents on Iridium Material Alloy - like 6 Countries ..
Just like NGK which Both are Global Producers - Only - 1 Holds the Patents from all I'm able to Locate .. that said :

Read the Link on Design of Plugs : DENSO SPARK PLUGS - Basic Knowledge

Further More Sparks Plugs are a Huge Tool to Remove and Control Heat - so there is- No Pre-Donation - Especially on Tuned Motor .. !

Hence I added the Photo's Up above - Which Removed - I'll Place them Again . .

( NOW - Manufacturing is Manufacturing ) and I have Noticed a Few Corner Cuttings - on this New Offering ..
Then there is NGK approx 11 Yrs ago I actually had to Shut then Down on a Line of Spark Plugs - they were Selling to the Public - which was Causing Issues . PM for Details !

Even Thou there are 110% Great Intentions - It doesn't always Happen that Way !
read: ( Reason for this Thread )

I have Further Refinements on Proper Indexing of Plugs - Feel Free to Look that Up !

JPegs Added - what the H ? Rejected ? - REALLY !

OK - Tuners and Tune Designers - have Nothing On Plugs ? Haa
OK that said I'm Not 100% Positive on the Number above _ Until I Actually Pull a Plug , for Number of Reasons - I have seen Wrong Plug Charts , Wrong Cross Reference Charts
I have even seen Auto Manufacturing Change Type , Heat Range etc. on Plugs in Middle of Assembly Line Build . .

So all You Guys on Here -Tuned and NO ONE has even Looked at Their Plugs ` \ : - )

OK - as suspected and it's even Worst then I thought .. Honda Dealers have No Idea , 50% can't even Find the Plug Number , If Their Life Depended on it ..

The Number i did get from Honda - went straight to older 2.4L Non-Turbo ..

This the Number - Racing Legend - Darrel Waltrip's - Honda - I had Bees with Him in the Pocono's Race Track before - wait to I see Him again let Him Know His Shop
Can't Find the Right Plugs - Haa - I had a long Talk with Him about Q. A. in His Engine Shop ..

So the Part Number I got from them goes to :( Seems Like the Plug May Fit ) Non- Turbo Motor is that Motor 12:1 Compression , as Turbo have a
( Working Compression Ratio of Generally ) 9-1 to 17-1 Compression .
Honda's Plugs are coming up with Cross Ref. to Denso's

Effective or Working Compression - may - Effectively Stop Spark , and do a Number of other things , so Sure a Spark Plug that is Easy on the Coil Pack
Helps Turbo Motor Greatly - Also If Plug has a Wide Heat Range . .

See Chart : Compression ask Yourself what would Static Pressure - even Close to this Chart do to Normal Plug .

All Investigation into stock Plugs - Shows a 100K Plug and Expensive . .
That said Denso makes the same Plug for less . , also there is a Performance Variety - that may only get .25% - Don't Know If one would even Feel that . .
Might see it in MPG over long haul , might be .01 in 1/4 mile - will Try it in 18K which is 7K Higher then Most Stock Plugs make it in My Auto's - as I'm Going to Index the .. Plugs . .

Havn't been on Site for awhile - Busy Time of Yr.

Thanks for all this footwork... I am curious about these little details as well, since not long ago spark plugs would be the FIRST thing people do to squeeze a little extra performance out of their cars... You ever index the plugs or find out more on some lower temp replacements?
On these 4 Valve Heads with Engine & Turbo Events happening so Fast - I usually Index Away from Intake towards Turbo ..
With this Motor being very Tuned to Knock Sensor - I'm wondering If Flame Kernel towards incoming Cool Air would allow slightly Bigger bang - Micro Sec.
Compression Wave -as this is all Bouncing Off the Piston . . :)

Maybe someone with Honda Data Tuner could Test to see any Differences . . Curve . .
Most of the Iridium Plugs have Wider Heat Range - Certainly If I was Stage 3 & Down Pipe 268 HP / 326Tq. or More I'd be looking at Plug Pull some Heat ..

Now Good Oil Cooler will Help with this also ..20-30 Degree Drop on Oil would be Good ..
