I’m looking to change my front and rear speakers and want to add an alpine power pack. I’ve used this little amp before with an aftermarket stereo but this will be the first time with an oem head unit. I’m not trying to cut any wires. Has anyone had any experience using a wire harness and if so can you pull power from it to power the amp?

You need to read the install instructions from the amp. That will tell you how it needs to be wired.

You should pull power directly from the battery to make sure you don't blow any fuses and for safety. As for the wire harness, there was one company making a breakout connector that was easy to rewire but unfortunately its discontinued. I used it in my setup and it works well. Hope you can find one somewhere.
