What's up my accord Peeps took the 2.0 to the mountains today and I noticed the temp display was showing 5 bars I'm used to only see 4 or am I trippen might not even noticed that it goes up to 5 or do I have a problem ? I know the cars get hotter when u go up could that be the difference display never went above 5 bars lmk peeps

What was you max elevation? And were you whipping the horses a little?

1 more bar is ok for mountain climbing. Any trans is going to warm up a bit. BlueDriver app or other is good for live views.

In my last Honda, I could roll the windows down and keep the ignition on, engine off, with AC on to keep both fans on. Saved the engine. In this Accord, I don't know how I would do this.

3k ft I was in the glendora / ASUZA mountains and yes I was driving on sport manual making some noice lol

"Spirited" driving, higher elevation (thinner air), could show higher temps. You didn't mention what the outside/ambient temp was during this drive... that too would have a factor on the temp.
