Coming off the interstate in my 2.0 sport it downshifted hard and did it both on the up and downshift in 5th. Took to the dealership and they called and said my reverse was gone also. New transmission at 17000 miles ....

What a joke. Got mine back all Honda warranty would do was flush it three times or some BS. Put about 100 miles on it and now getting a transmission temperature almost at limit light. Going back tomorrow 😡

I haven't had any issues, other than the "jerky" feel that went away after a couple of months (if you search for it, you'll see others that mention it). I've never had a full blown transmission failure or failure for the car to shift though. At least you're still under warranty! Was the car in full auto mode or were you using the paddle shifters?

Good luck and keep us updated!

Anyone have any transmission problems in their 18 2.0T Sport? Today mine hesitated to go from a stop light then it took off and won’t shift out of first. At the dealer now but thought I’d ask
I've been a transmission builder for 35 years tell them to fix it or take the car back or your going to sue them the dealers can fix them all they can say is that's normal well thats bullshit there ant nothing normal about it its a piss poor design that's the bottom line

Yes because that approach will def work. Little tip as soon as you mention the word sue the conversation is over. You at this point have threatened to sue, so most the times after that, they won't even deal with you without the lawyers involved. The only thing you have done is taken something that may be resolved easily, and turned it into a drawn out over complicated process. Now if you have a legitimate claim and they refuse it that's a different story. In this case they replaced the transmission, end of story.
