I’m trying to figure out if this is even possible.
So I have a 2019 Accord Sport 2.0. I have a WiFi hotspot that I leave in the vehicle that’s always on so it’s like having a car with built in WiFi.
I have an old iPhone 11 without an active phone number and a newer iPhone with an active number.
I want to be able to just jump in the car and the old device (without a number) kicks on CarPlay and it grabs pandora and maps from WiFi.(This part works)
However phone calls are an issue. Calls with my new device’s number cannot come through that old device.
Is there someway to force Bluetooth calls via my new phone and CarPlay via the old device?.
I know AirPlay devices exist and that might be the final solution but wanted to try and set this up without paying for one of those devices. Yes this is all about avoiding taking my phone out of my pocket and plugging it up each time.
