I use this online wheel offset calculator for these sorts of fitment estimates along with getting under the car and visually feeling/measuring how much clearance I have to shocks/springs, trailing arms, etc. Don't have much room to bring the wheels in (towards the shock towers) on the new Accords (guessing < 1 inch between the front wheel and strut), so you'd need to have a lower offset wheel to fit if you went that wide and they'd stick out more (creating scrub radius change...not good).
