Hey yal!
I've had my honda almost 3 years now and I love my car! When I bought it there was 56,000 miles on it( nor freaking bad at all) now its got 79,000. Still for a 2016 that good! Well about a year ago it started making that dang rattling noise at start up. Timing Belt Tensioner!!! I had it replaced. Omg it ran so smooth ..... for about 4 days 🫣😑 Thank God! I wasn't driving and that my daddy raised me right I started it and the whole car went to trembling. Right away I switched it off and called tow truck. We'll that Tensioner basically fell apart! Hmmm🤔 Bought another. And it's been about 4-5 months. I swear I can hear that rattling at times. It's not my imagination. Others agreed...although faint. Itz there. Can someone explain to me what the deal is and why it's wanting to go through timing Tensioners like oil changes? It's it a defect, can something be done. I'm still making payments on this car and I do not wanna see it sitting in the yard un drivable. Should I get rid of it. I still owe $ 12,000 ..ugh! Any advice or suggestions will be greatly appreciated
