Dear fellow members,
I'm thrilled to be exploring the possibility of purchasing a 2018 Honda Accord . Your invaluable advice regarding crucial evaluation criteria, maintenance tips, and pivotal factors in the car-buying process would be greatly appreciated. However, I do have a concern: the vehicle carries a SALVAGE/HIGH MILEAGE/ETC]. While some individuals believe it's not a significant issue, others caution against it. Is this a matter that warrants genuine concern? Your input is immensely valued, and I thank you in advance for your insights.

Update:
Hey everyone,

I just wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to all the amazing members of our forum! Your contributions and sharing of valuable information are truly appreciated. A special shoutout to @Lofrennail for their fantastic input and suggestions.

So, about the window sticker journey... Following @Lofrennail's advice, I decided to do a bit of searching on my own. I simply typed window sticker by DVH into Google and found exactly what I needed on the suggested website. Not only did it have the window sticker, but it also had a license plate search option. Since I had access to the VIN number of the vehicle, I was able to obtain a replica of the window sticker.

Once again, a big thank you to all of you for your amazing support! You guys rock!

If its a branded title, you get no warranty or help from honda going forward. You are pretty much on your own if anything goes wrong.
Provide this information:
Mileage
Trim/Engine
Damage history
Maintenance history/owner history
Location (state/country) the car was originally purchased
Current condition (pictures of any repairs/damage/paint missmatch etc)
What kind of sale is this? Private party or dealer?
Price + taxes/fees

I agree with Joediesle. As an owner of an Accord, 2018 1.5T, owned since new, I can tell you that this is a bad engine. Fuel pump problems can cause major motor issues, carbon build up is worse than other direct injection motors, head gaskets blow at low mile counts, and, if those things don't kill the engine, the oil dilution problem will. Many of these engines will not make 50K miles. Stay away from any car with that engine.

Consider other car makes.

Was the damage mostly cosmetic or something more serious like frame or flood? I’ve seen some good deals with salvage cars, but I always wonder about long-term reliability and resale. High mileage is one thing, but salvage and high miles together would probably make me think twice unless I knew the full story. Did you have a mechanic look it over?
