If you have a spare tire sub, please chime in.

Does it really sound good? Does it produce the lows clearly?

I need all the trunk space and not excited about Alternator upgrades, and sub boxes.

Do you still use a spare tire sub? Yes or No. Thanks in advance.

I can't speak for having one yet. I've got one but haven't installed it yet. I came from a GTI that had a spare tire sub and system that sounded great. It wasn't rattling windows or anything but it gave good bass and the system sounds miles better than the accord's. I'm in the same boat as you in that I want and need my trunk space. I went with the jbl basspro hub. Hope this helps..

That’s good that you got to hear one.

I’ve gone back to the original plan of a five channel DSP amplifier and putting a sub in the trunk with a Skar box. They are on sale, too. I’d still go with a dsp 5ch amp and two AudioControl AC-LGD 20 Load Generating Devices for the trouble in the install because maybe I sell the hub sub and get a trunk sub. Then at least the factory signals are corrected.
