Hi @Guntharia, check this site Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market

select Audiovisual A/V and it offers your requested part number AF1, and there are some results.
btw, you can also use AF1 or AF2

Hello, I like to have Wireless Apple CarPlay in my Accord, and I don't like chineese usb dongles. So I investigated part numbers of car radio receiver, check connectors and so on.

2021 Accord EX-L, after facelift comes with wireless functionality. Part number is 39540-TVA-AD1.
EX-L with installed navigation or Touring models have part number 39540-TVA-AF1.

I was lucky, and bought 39540-TVA-AD1 on eBay for just $299, from some crashed car. It just arrived, I have to install it and will see, what happens.

From what I know, this can be only possible on EX-L and Touring trims, because back side of unit have different connectors that on lower trim levels.

Hi, can you explain why you say the LX models are out of luck. ?
Looking to upgrade my 2020 hybrid LS to touchscreen and wireless Apple CarPlay. Thank you.

Pulled my receiver out to look for extra plugs. Didn’t see any but found these wires taped to the harness. Does anybody have a clue what they’re for

The LX trim uses a completely different system, which is why there are only 7 buttons on the display compared to the 8 on the higher trims. The headunit is also slimmer and uses different connectors on the LX, which is why you can't drop in a headunit from a higher trim and have it work. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. :(

Your best option is to get one of those aftermarket screens that run android and swap out the screen unit. I have no idea how well these work and how difficult it is to install.

for example: ebay android screen

Best of luck,
Rawrer

PS. those taped wires are likely for other add-ons, like the wireless phone charger or footwell lighting that the dealer can add.

I've got a 2020 Accord Sport 1.5. I really wanted SiriusXM satellite radio so I purchased a satellite radio adapter kit from Vais Technology. The downside (and they don't tell you this until you get it installed), that the adapter uses the USB port on the head unit and you lose access to Android Auto/Carplay. If I wanted to swap out the head unit for the 2021 Sport (Part # 39540-TVA-AC1), could I also plug in the XM radio tuner and add satellite radio? The XM radio tuner is separate from the Vais Technology adapter kit.

I can’t comment on what head unit will work in your car. But I did just want to throw this out there…

SiriusXM has an app that you can run on iPhone with wireless CarPlay. So, in my case, I did not install a SiriusXM adapter in my Honda, I just use the app on my phone via wireless Apple CarPlay. Not sure if you might want to research if the app on the android also would work through wireless connection. Meaning, can you control the app on the car screen for an android the way you can for an iPhone using the app. No additional hardware installed in the Honda.

It’s just a software update.

My dealer has it and just hasn’t tried it out yet on a demo before I get in there. They’re probably going to charge half hour labor, one hour if they’re being greedy. Good opportunity to add remote start key fobs to your car if it doesn’t have it.

If you can add the app to your phone then you should be able to add it to the phone’s car play settings. This is where it is easier to shuffle around apps that you will actually use in the car.
The phone had to have connected to CarPlay at least one time so you can choose which car to put which apps on.

The car’s CarPlay display is projected from the connected phone; if that makes sense. So CarPlay follows you with your phone not loading the car with your data.
